“We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect.”–Anaïs Nin
Writing has always been one of my greatest loves—a way to reach people, to speak to them, to connect through shared experiences and unspoken truths. Words have the power to illuminate, to heal, and to challenge the way we see ourselves and the world.
My most recent manuscript, The Beauty of Broken Things, is a deeply personal memoir exploring survival, resilience, and transformation. It delves into the complexities of leaving an abusive relationship, confronting past trauma, and ultimately finding strength in the brokenness. It is currently in the publishing process, and I look forward to sharing it with readers soon.
My second book, All the Lives We’ve Lived, is a work in progress—an exploration of identity, reinvention, and the many selves we become over a lifetime. This book is a meditation on transformation, tracing the quiet deaths and rebirths that shape who we are.
I was honored to be a recipient of the Queensland Writers Centre/Hachette Manuscript Development Award, an experience that helped shape my journey as an author. My work has also been widely published across various platforms, including Kidspot, Mamamia, Medium, Constance Hall, HuffPost, and Queensland Writers Centre’s WQ magazine, among many others. In addition to books, I continue to write about resilience, justice, and the human experience across multiple media channels.
If you’d like to collaborate, I’d love to hear from you.
